It was supposed to be a vase.
Somewhere in the carving, I stopped. The wood already had its own wound — a natural rupture the tree had carried long before I touched it. I stopped hollowing and started listening.
UNSEEN became a portrait of the invisible. The geometric grid drawn across the surface represents the systems that try to define, measure, and contain us. The rupture beneath it reveals what those systems will never reach — memory, emotion, the parts of us that exist beyond language.
Carved from Ash wood, finished with organic oil. Each grain line is a year. Each knot, a moment the tree chose to grow around rather than through.

Měla to být váza.
Někde v průběhu řezání jsem přestala. Dřevo mělo svoji vlastní ránu — přirozenou trhlinu, kterou strom nesl dlouho předtím.
NEVIDĚNO se stalo portrétem neviditelného. Geometrická mřížka nakreslená po povrchu představuje systémy, které se nás snaží definovat, měřit a ohraničit. Trhlina pod ní odhaluje to, kam tyto systémy nikdy nedosáhnou — paměť, emoce, části nás, které existují za hranicí slov.
Vyřezáno z jasanového dřeva, dokončeno organickým olejem. Každá linie letokruhu je rok. Každý suk je okamžik, kolem kterého se strom rozhodl růst, místo aby jím prošel.
Všichni jsme, do jisté míry, neviděni.
